Leslie Thompson

Born to a math-teaching father and an art-teaching mother, Leslie Thompson strikes a balance between craft and calculation. Her work, marked by humor, storytelling, and a relentless pursuit of meaning, has led to Leslie being a sought-after voice for multimedia creation and cultivation—from podcast hosting & producing, to storytelling & writing.

Leslie is not just a storyteller; she's a curator of experiences in which humor meets depth, and where stories connect and inspire.

Leslie’s newest podcast, Niche to Meet You, profiles the little-known niche subcultures and hobbies where we make and find meaning. Leslie also hosts AncoraTN’s Someone Like Me podcast, which shares the firsthand stories of human sex trafficking survivors in the state of Tennessee. Leslie produces shows for Christianity Today (Holy Curiosity with Kat Armstrong), and The Living Church Podcast. Leslie is a featured writer in the best-selling Every Moment Holy prayer series, with prayers featured in the third volume, The Work of the People. She also publishes frequently on Substack, sometimes pairing written words with an audio component released as podcasts.

An alumni of Belmont University’s Commercial Voice and Music Technology program, Leslie still finds time to use her voice through voiceover narration, session work, and in performances in Nashville and beyond.

Inspiration strikes Leslie in the English-Ivy covered hills just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2020, she and her husband went to Alaska to witness the greatness of the 48th Iditarod dog sled race…but that’s another story for another time. See Leslie’s resume here.
